On Saturday, we had some of the Elders in our Stake over for lunch. Brad grilled steaks! AND made 2 pies! Are you amazed? I was! : ) It was really fun having over the missionaries. They're a really great group!
After lunch they all ran up the hill to the stake center to watch the Priesthood broadcast.
Meanwhile the kids and I stayed home - and I got sucked into facebook! (I just joined.) Facebook is a modern miracle! It's like the reunion I never got to go to. : ) --A reunion with friends from all over!!
After Brad came back we hung out some more. : ) Ava worked on her pulling up/cruising and pulling out books.
And the kids got a package from Grandma. : ) After tearing into it...
they spent some time on the bunny trail.

The next morning the kids hounded us to start dying eggs. So after the first Session we began. : )
The kids had an awesome time until one of the masterpieces rolled off the counter. : ) I guess it's ok if that happens as long as it's not your egg. : ) But they got over it and continued on with the magic. : )
All the while Ava was getting in some bongo drumming on the floor.
And then she got all sweaty and hot (she's like that) I don't know what we're going to do when summer comes around! You'd think our house would have central AC! But it doesn't! (But I am thankful for the AC units we do have!) So when she gets hot and fussy peeling off her clothes does the job -- and playing a great game of Peek-A-Boo with her daddy. : )
After a bit Conference started up again...it's such a blessing to watch it at home!
I'm grateful for the good news and blessings of the gosple, and the awesome talks given. : ) I love Conference Weekend!

Looks like you really did have a wonderful weekend! That is good. I love conference weekend too! Lunch with the missionaries looks like it was fun too - you are gracious to have them all over - what a crowd! :) Hope you have a happy easter too - the kids look cute in their bunny ears!
What does the picture mean with Brad showing us "peace out"? Good job on the pies too - what kind did me make? All from scratch too!!? I am impressed, yes! :)
You are an inspiration! I don't know that I would get up at 6 AM to watch conference. Way to go girl.
