Ever been in the zone? : ) If there's a zone to just serenely stroll along in, down by the beach in Waikiki is one of our favorites. Our kids have always enjoyed aquariums and zoos and on our island they're both on Waikiki. They're almost right next to each other, and right down on the beach and by the hotels! There are these huge painted sculpures out in front of the aquarium that are pretty great. :) -Thus "the zone" topic. : )

The octopus is an anticipated resident to find. : )
And, there are two Hawaiian Monk Seals that are faves.
(It's blurry but one of them's zonked out on the rocks.)
Brad who is never sick wasn't feeling so hot but wanted to come along, and carried Ava!
Ava thought the aquarium was great, too!!
Afterward we meandered around the zoo. : )
James is an awesome help! Having big kids help with babies is the way to go!!
It was great to check out the animals!!
The zoo is huge and we didn't visit all there was to see. It was getting to be dinner and closing time, and we needed to head out but it was nice to just be ... in the stroll-along zone. : )

What a fun day!!! It is good to take such wonderful advantage of all there is to see and do there. You also have great photos of all you are doing too! :) Your family looks happy - hope all is well!!
That would be nice to have both so close together. It looks like such a nice day to get out and be a family.
