This was Ava's first time meeting her Grandma and Grandpa C...

...and Aunt Sug. : ) --Sug does this sweet, completely mesmerizing, silly, ...baby greeting!! It is so awesome!! It cracks me up just thinking about it! Ask her to do it for you someday!

The kids had a great time playing inside and outside but most of all with Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sug.

Grandma made amazing, delicious meals and even let James make his own smiley face roll. : )

Grandma and Grandpa took us to Balboa park where we visited an amazing little model railway meuseum of Southern California. James was especially excited to see all the tiny trains.

Sunday Pictures. Sometimes family pictures can be tough to get little kids to flash their best smiles - or even just to happily participate! But we tried, and had fun anyway.

When we visit Grandma and Grandpa James and Ashley always look forward to feeding the ducks at a nearby lake.

On the way there we got to hear an awesome lesson from Brad - The Science Dad - on pine cones.

James and Ashley had a ball at the lake. Although the mobs of ducks and geese kind of freaked out Ashley. I'd be freaked out too if there were hungry animals half as tall as me around. : )

While we were in Cali we stopped in at SeaWorld.

Brad and the kids fed the seals....

...and the birds!

And there was a dolphin that seemed to take a special interest in Ashley.

We had such a fun trip! It was AWESOME to visit Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Sug. : ) They are so wonderful! We hope we can get together again soon!
